STEERING & TIRE WEAR
Four-wheel alignment in Orlando, FL
If your car pulls to one side, the steering wheel sits crooked when you drive straight, or your tires wear unevenly, the wheels may be out of alignment. McCoy Enterprises does four-wheel alignments on the alignment rack in our shop, checking and adjusting all four wheels.

Alignments are done at our shop at 6450 S Orange Ave in Pine Castle, and they pair well with new tires, a rotation or suspension and steering work, so the new parts start out wearing evenly.

What alignment does and why it drifts in Orlando driving
Alignment is the angle of each wheel relative to the car and to the road. When the angles are set to the manufacturer’s specifications, the tires roll straight, the steering wheel is centered and the car tracks in a straight line without you correcting it. When they drift, the tires scrub sideways a little with every turn of the wheel, which wears the tread unevenly and makes the car pull.
Alignment can change gradually with normal wear of steering and suspension parts, or suddenly after hitting a pothole, a curb or road debris. Construction zones, uneven lanes and curbs in tight parking lots are everyday causes around Orlando. An alignment check is a good idea after an impact, when you install new tires, after steering or suspension repairs, or whenever you notice the car pulling or the steering wheel off center. Fixing it early protects your tires and makes the car easier and safer to drive.
